LG 65" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160P) Smart OLED TV (OLED65B7A) Tested and Reviewed

By our senior writer: Wilhelm Hellum

I've been waiting to write this article for a long time. But today I actually get to review the LG 65" Class 4K Ultra! I, Wilhelm Hellum, write about electronics for a living as a writer, blogger and reviewer and you have probably read my pieces about the Dell Inspiron Premium Gaming Laptop with 15.6" Full HD Screen, Intel i7-7700hq (upto 3.8 GHz), Nvidia GTX 1050 Graphics, 16GB DDR4 Memory, 512GB SSD, Windows 10 (Certified Refurbished) by Laptop and the Veradek Kobo Round Planter - Black - 14 in. by Kobo. I also did an editorial piece on the Huawei Mate 9 Pro 128GB LON-L29 Dual-Sim Titanium Gray Factory Unlocked International Model, No Warranty, GSM (no Sprint or Verizon). Needless to say, I have quite some experience testing electronics and I only want the best to my readers of course. So I was really thrilled when I got this product to write about today!

Since 2012 I've been watching Lg1 so I am really excited that I am finally able to try the LG 65" Class 4K Ultra and writing this review for you guys. While searching for the best deal on this product I stumbled across this offer on Walmart (You can buy it here.) and I immediately jumped on the opportunity. So I got my creditcard out and placed my order. With the standard same day delivery and free shipping it really is a bargain compared to the competitor brands and retailers. Later that day when my LG 65" Class 4K Ultra was delivered I opened it and was overjoyed with what I saw. I might sound a bit biassed being a longtime Lg customer but this product really steps it up quite a bit, which is immediately noticeable when opening the package. Now that I've been testing it for a couple of days now I feel like I know enough about the LG 65" Class 4K Ultra to write this review. So keep reading and I will show you why I am so enthusiastic about my brand new LG 65" Class 4K Ultra.

Best LG 65" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160P) Smart OLED TV (OLED65B7A) deal

I mostly begin with a summary when reviewing electronics, then I write a list of the positive and negative points of the product after which I'll explain my rating and have a conclusion and of course the resources I used writing this article. So as made clear in the previous paragraphs, I am quite fond of the LG 65" Class 4K Ultra. Lg really went all out with this one. The quality is unmatched, and to be honest; it just looks amazing. I know looks aren't the most important aspect of electronics, but it does need to be talked about. And I'm sure it will when more people start to look at this masterpiece. The price alone that Walmart offers was and is by far the lowest, and should be enough reason to grab your wallet so make sure to check them out. I did test a lot of similar products before, I must admit none come even close to the LG 65" Class 4K Ultra. Just the functinality alone leaves all competition in the cold and the quality also proves to be up there. The customer service of Lg2 is known to always be very happy to assist if you have any question so if you ever need them they'll be really tolerant and helpful in looking for a solution. So just a quick recap; only good things to say about the LG 65" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160P) Smart OLED TV (OLED65B7A). Do finish this article tho because you there is sort of a surprise in the end!

The list of pros of this LG 65" Class 4K Ultra is going to be much longer than the conslist and the description3 this site gives already lists them quite well. To quote just an excerpt: "LG 65" Class 4K (2160P) Smart OLED TV (OLED65B7A):

When thinking of cons for the LG 65" Class 4K Ultra I had a way harder time. Sure, lower prices is always better4 and do you really need this premium quality? That's for yourself to decide. Here is the list:

  1. Maybe the way the product looks is not to your taste.
  2. It's a premium product so maybe you don't need this level of quality.
  3. The LG 65" Class 4K Ultra is so popular that soon everybody will have one.

Best Lg product in years

Considering the points above I can only conclude that the LG 65" Class 4K Ultra deserves 5 stars, 10/10 an A+++ and just overall praise5. I've read reviews by people saying that it's a little too perfect and that it doesn't leave room for the competition, but I don't really mind a nice monopoly. And Lg sure is heading to become one with this product!

Verdict and Conclusion

In conclusion, my verdict is that the LG 65" Class 4K Ultra really will make your life more fun and just better altogether. (And did I mention the resale value6 of Lg products?) I've done my utmost to view this thing from all possible angles in this piece but I see it sounds all very positive. So please read some more reviews, and you'll see that it's not me that is so enthusiast. So let me just say is that I fully, fully, recommend the LG 65" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160P) Smart OLED TV (OLED65B7A) for now and the future until Lg will come up with its successor. And if you are still hesitating whether you want this new LG 65" Class 4K Ultra. Walmart really has a great deal on it now. A great means to an end...No Cable!

First of all this is the 4th LG TV that we now own. The second Smart TV. I have purchased this TV in my Quest to cut the Cable. LG has made it so simple to accomplish this task via the use of loaded and loadable apps from the LG store. Pre loaded apps like Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Google Play Movies, Netflixx, Sling, Vudu, and YouTube along with live streaming from my Digital HD/4k antenna I am able to pull in 45 local stations. ABC, CBS, CW, FOX , PBS and NBC , cover the main stations I am capable to record and play back content by loading Plex and a Plex pass using thier DVR capable apps again from the LG store. Anybody looking to cut or shave the cable really could not do better than purchasing from this line of LG Smart TVs. One more thing it is Google Assistant capable. You just have to get your assistant to talk to LGs assistant. Way cool. Enjoy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

A wonderful addition to my home

I have now had my LG TV for a month and I am very happy. The first thing I did was to order a Magic remote and hooked up my Fire Stick. The picture is truly outstanding and MLB.TV comes in beautifully. The size, 49 inches, is perfect for me. I have also added a sound bar to make the movies and games I watch come alive. Lately, Wimbledon and the World Cup were even better to watch than ever! Count me in as a very satisfied customer in all aspects for LG products. I have even taught myself how to cast games from my computer to my TV. Man, what a blast. Thanks to the designers of my TV and the people who built it. They have accomplished a wonderful job! Excellent entry level 4k TV

The LG TV is an excellent entry level 4k tv which set up easily with the assistant. The TV channel guide is excellent with our HD antenna. Picture is clear and bright, though some reflection can be an issue with the plastic screen. At this price point though we are very pleased with our purchase. Fast access to smart features, though some extra steps seem superfluous for normal things like brightness etc. Overall a great tv at a super price. Great TV, cheap legs

We love the purchase of our TV, but the legs immediately broke, luckily we plan to mount it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
